PROFORE High Compression Bandaging System, specifically designed in four layers for the management of venous leg ulcers and associated conditions; first a knitted viscose primary dressing as a wound contact layer which permits the passage of exudate; then

1) a roll of absorbent padding formed from viscose fibres

2) a woven 'crepe'-type bandage used to hold the absorbent padding in place

3) a lightweight Class 3a elastic compression bandage

4) a Class 3b cohesive bandage that also acts as a retaining layer
